To begin...

Hey, what can I say, I follow the crowd. You blog, I blog, we all blog, its fun! I won't guarantee the time I will spend on here, but it's gotta be better than not keeping up at all! So.. The up to date news on us so far. The house is full.. There is me, my hubby Eric, my daughter, Mackenzie (8), my sons Slayton (4) and Jackson (2), and the twins Valley and Maggie (5 months). Eric stays at home with the kiddos while I sleep or work..or both at the same time. Most of you know that the twins were born prematurely (13 weeks early) Valley weighed in at 1 lb 10 oz at birth and Maggie was 1 lb 15 oz. They are (as of yesterday) up to V - 9 lbs 1 oz, and M 9 lbs 11 oz. There were alot of prayers headed our way during that very emotional time, and if I haven't thanked you all by now.. THANK YOU! They are both doing very well. Mackenzie is having some trouble in school, so Deb, if you have any teaching hints or study guides to pass along, I'd be glad to have them. I've threatened her that I'm going to go to school with her, and that seems to have scared the dickens out of her, so maybe that will do something. Slayton (from here on referred to as Bubby) is in preschool and loving it. He gets no report cards, but his teachers love him to death and say that he is doing well. His speech therapy is definitely going well, he never stops talking now! Jackson is also in speech therapy (imagine..TWO of my children having problems talking..I just don't understand it), and doing well also. Eric shaved his head..nuff said. and me?? Well, I work, I love my kids and my husband and I paint stuff. Anyway, thats sounds like a good first blog to me.
